A little bit about Audrey...

Audrey Friedman, RN has been a nurse for over 35 years with a wide variety of amazing experiences helping people in clinical situations in newborn intensive care, oncology, bone marrow transplant, cardiology and adult intensive care units.  Audrey has enjoyed providing care to patients, their families and the community in a variety of clinical roles including bedside nursing, case manager, preceptor, education, travel nurse, office nurse, community speaker, online educator, legal nurse consultant and writer.

Audrey still believes in the magic nurses have, to affect change in healing people’s lives and to inspire other nurses about the opportunities they have to feel excited, empowered, connected when they make a difference in the lives of their patients and families, but also for other nurses, as colleagues, mentors and role models.  Audrey’s ‘Nursing Wit and Wisdom’ project for nurses was nominated for the 2015 Nightingale awards.  Audrey loves gardening, the symphony and having her cat walk her and their dog on adventures in their neighborhood.
