A little bit about Bill...

Bill Bergman, M.D. is a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Amherst College and a 1970 graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. A member of the International Fellows Program at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, he has been involved in researching and practicing preventive and integrative medicine for more than fifty years, specializing in natural medicine, clinical nutrition and stress management. In 1980, Dr. Bergman established one of the most innovative preventive and integrative family practice clinics in New York City. With his growing emphasis on stress management as a key to wellness and health promotion, Dr. Bergman received 1-on-1 provider licensure by HeartMath, LLC in 1999.

Dr. Bergman and his wife moved to Denver Colorado in 2002 where he did extensive community health education, consulting for wellness centers and serving as founder-director of the 501(c)3 non-profit Rocky Mountain Resource Network. 

The focus of his educational programs has been on therapeutic lifestyle programs and the power of group intention for health promotion and disease prevention. He and his wife, Nina, now live in Naples, Florida where he served as a physician consultant for drug and alcohol rehabilitation and Chief Medical Officer at St. Matthew's House. He is now available for integrative health consultations to end stress and unwanted habits of thought and behavior.
